WCM Tooling systems are designed, developed and manufactured in-house or globally sourced, enabling our Clients to develop high specification products. Besides having many traditional techniques, we have many tooling and tool-less manufacturing technologies unique to WCM.

3S Tooling Technology for low volume production soft feel Instrumentation Panel (IP). The 3S service has 3 stages; The first stage, a master of the Skin is created using rapid manufacturing methods and from these a nickel shell tool is made and then slush moulded using production material. The second stage, the IP main Structure is produced from a CNC Aluminum Injection Mold Tool. The third and final stage, the “Soft Feel” - a foam tool is created to hold the Skin on the A surface and the main IP Structure is held on the B surface, production foam is injected into the tool adhering parts together.
